Dinner at Le Chateau

Dinner last night was perched on the ancient stone terrace of the Chateau we are staying in, with brilliant views all out across Millau and north into the hills with the sun going down, swallows flitting around in the sky around us, lovely setting.

Without doubt the best meal we have had so far






An amuse bouche of mussel chowder first off, followed by - large intake of breath...



the foie gras, which was quite nice :)



A filet de beouf, served blue...



Two exceptional local blue cheese



And the remains of a pear tart - sorry about that got carried away. All washed down with a lovely Cote de Rhone Village. Very very nice. (hic)
